Be prepared for the R22 Phase out.

The R22 is a single hydro chlorofluorocarbon compound which has low chlorine substance, ozone reduction potential and only a modest global warming potential. After 1 January 2010 there was no more virgin refrigerant available, the R22 can be used in existing air conditioning systems, and after 2015 there will also be no more recycled refrigerant. This means the R22 can be used in more existing air conditioning systems in the future to reduce global warming potentional.
